3. Use of Service & Content
License: CloudChapter grants you a limited, non-transferable, and revocable license to use our platform for personal or internal business use, depending on your plan.
User Content: You retain ownership of any digital files (e-books, PDFs, notes) you upload. However, you grant CloudChapter the right to host and sync this content across your devices.
Prohibited Acts: You agree not to:
Upload malicious code or viruses.
Use the service for any illegal distribution of copyrighted materials.
Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the platform’s infrastructure.
4. Memberships & Billing
Subscription Tiers: Services are billed based on the plan selected (Starter, Narrative Pro, Scholar Suite, or Infinite Library).
Renewals: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the next billing cycle.
Refunds: Please refer to our Refund Policy for specific terms regarding cancellations and credits.
5. Intellectual Property
The CloudChapter name, logo, interface design, and proprietary software are the exclusive property of CloudChapter. You may not use our branding without express written permission.
6. Service Availability & “As-Is” Clause
While we strive for 99.9% uptime, CloudChapter is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features to improve the overall user experience.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CloudChapter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in activity that harms the CloudChapter community or platform.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CloudChapter is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
